My payment has not gone through?

If you are having trouble making apayment through our payment gateway, it is suggested bypaypal that the temporary internet files on the computer you are using to processthe order are deleted, and then please retry. (In internet explorer this option can be found in Tools, an then Internet Options)

If this is not successful please contact us at sales@worldoffancydress.comwitha list of the items and the quantitiesyou require, and wewill send you an electronic invoice to pay. Thank you.

How do I make a purchase?

To make a purchase, simply browse our products, and then click "ADD TO CART". Cookies must be enabled on your browser for the cart system to work. If you are having difficulty, read the section below regarding Enabling Cookies. If you are a new user you will be required to register which involves submitting a few details about yourself. You will then be logged in and ready make your purchases. You need to register in order to track your orders, as part of the order process you will receive emails regarding the progress of your order.

If you make a mistake whilst ordering this can be changed at any time before the order is confirmed. Once you have received notification of checkout success your order has been placed. Please then notify us by email (sales@worldoffancydress.com) of any error that you have made during the checkout process so that it can be rectified prior to dispatch, to avoid disappointment.

Is my payment secure:

Worldoffancydress.com (P&M Entertainment) are compliant with the PCI Data Security Standards and have been approved through Trustwave giving you confidence when you purchase items from our store. For our certificate please click on the logo below.

We do not handle any of your credit or debit card information. We use the well known dedicated payment merchants World Pay andPayPal who handle all our transactions in a secure manner. Whenever you enter personal data into a web page, and at the checkout process, when you see the http:// web site prefix in your browser change to https:// and a little padlock appear on the right hand side, you can be assured that any data that passes between your web browser and this site is encrypted. The padlock should be in a locked position when any data is sent from your browser to our web site at the checkout or Paypal servers. Please remember that you give your payment card details direct to a bank and we never see your credit card details.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit and debit cards via World Pay:

Mastercard/JCB/Visa/Electron/American Express/Maestro/Solo

We also accept PayPal payments.

We also accept cheques and postal orders. Please note that goods cannot be dispatched until the payment has cleared, which can take up to 5-7 working days. Therefore please order well in advance if you wish to pay by this method.

How long will my order take to be delivered?

We aim to dispatch your item(s) within 1-5 working days, after which delivery can be expected based on the option chosen below. However, if you need an item by a particular date then please enter it into the 'Special Instructions' box during the checkout and we will do our best to ensure it gets to you in time.

  • 1st Class Recorded Delivery - Delivery usually 1 working day after you receive the 'Order Dispatched' email.
  • 2nd Class Recorded Delivery - Delivery usually within 3 working days after you receive the 'Order Dispatched' email.

Western Europe:

  • International Signed For Airmail service Delivery time usually up to 3 working days after you receive the 'Order Dispatched' email.

Eastern Europe:

  • International Signed For Airmail service Delivery time usually up to 4 working days after you receive the 'Order Dispatched' email.

Rest of the World:

  • International Signed For Airmail service Delivery time usually up to 5 working days after you receive the 'Order Dispatched' email.
