We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions expressed in such Web sites, and such Web sites are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by us. Inclusion of any linked Web site on our Site does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked Web site by us. If you decide to leave our Site and access these third-party sites, you do so at your own risk.
2. Payments. You represent and warrant that if you are purchasing something from us that (i) any credit card information you supply is true, correct and complete, (ii) charges incurred by you will be honoured by your credit card company, and (iii) you will pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any shipping fees and applicable taxes.
3. Third-Party Services. We allow access to or advertise third-party merchant sites ("Merchants") from which you may purchase or otherwise obtain certain goods or services. You understand that we do not operate or control the products or services offered by Merchants. Merchants are responsible for all aspects of order processing, fulfilment, billing and customer service. We are not a party to the transactions entered into between you and Merchants. You agree that use of such merchants is at your sole risk and is without warranties of any kind by us, expressed, implied or otherwise including warranties of title, fitness for purpose merchantability or non infringement under no circumstances are we liable for any damages arising from the transactions between you and the merchants or for any information appearing on the merchant sites or any other site linked to our site.
4. Third-Party Merchant Policies. All rules, policies (including privacy policies) and operating procedures of Merchants will apply to you while on such sites. We are not responsible for information provided by you to Merchants. We and the Merchants are independent contractors and neither party has authority to make any representations or commitments on behalf of the other.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our catalogue here online, clicking on any items for further information and add them to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selections, click on "Shopping Cart" to view your purchases and continue to the checkout. At checkout time you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process the order. Methods of Payment
We accept payment by the major debit or credit cards, cheque, postal order or PayPal. We are sorry, but we cannot accept cash.
Please note that no order will be dispatched for shipping until it is paid for in full.
Please note it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the delivery address they provide is correct and our products can be delivered to that address. We cannot be responsible for any items that are unable to be delivered.
Please note that Royal Mail will usually only deliver to the address stated on the address label. It may not be possible to deliver to alternate address in the case of no one being able to sign for the parcel as the Recorded Delivery service does require a signature.
The shipping times quoted are based on the information provided by the third party postal service worldoffancydress.com uses to delivery products to its customers. Please ensure that your shipping address is covered within the services we provide, if not please contact us for a shipping quote to your address specifically.
Please note that we do endeavour to satisfy your delivery date requirements, however, at busy times, such as the October Halloween period, and in instances where stock delivery is delayed, we may not be able to meet this. However, time for delivery shall not be of the essence and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery. If we fail to despatch any ordered goods within 30 days of accepting your order (or, in the case of special orders, any longer period which we may have notified to you), we shall refund in full your payment in respect of such goods.
All our parcels are sent via Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Recorded (UK orders) and must by signed for on delivery. If no one is available to sign for the delivery the parcel will be taken to the local post office for collection. In most cases a card will be posted to inform you that there is a parcel to be collected however on occasion this may not happen, in which case it may be advisable to contact the local depot to determine if the parcel is awaiting collection.
In the case of parcels not arriving in the expected delivery period, it is recommended that you contact your local post office depot. If the depot do not have a record of your parcel please contact us.
If you fail to take delivery of the order and in the event that the parcel is not collected from the depot within 7 days the items will be returned to us, in which case we will contact you with regards to re-posting the item to you. The re-posting of the items will incur an additional postage charge and will be sent to your email address as an electronic invoice. We will refund the cost of goods without shipping or if the goods are still required, will ask for an additional shipping fee to make a second delivery.
If your item does not arrive, the Royal Mail states the an item is not considered lost until 15 working days (Monday - Friday) until after the expected delivery date (which is, depending on postage class used, a few days after the dispatch date). Therefore a refund claim for missing items can only begin to be processed after this time, as the item may still arrive.
Meeting Your Required Date
We do invite you to place a "Required By" date at checkout and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate this requirement. However, we advise that we will not be bound by this date. Should an order be shipped and arrive after your Required By date with no previous notification of Cancellation, our Returns Policy will apply.
Shipping outside of the UK
Goods delivered outside of the UK are done so with local duties and taxes unpaid.
If a product you order is unavailable we will endeavour to contact you with the details you have provided to us. Please ensure that these details are correct and up-to-date and if possible a contact telephone number for urgent queries. We may after prior consultation ask if a replacement product with the same or higher value be acceptable. You may agree or reject this offer. If we are unable to contact you, so that we can dispatch your order, we may make a decision to ship the replacement item to you and email you the rationale. Should this not be acceptable upon receipt, you may return the item(s) for full refund including all postage. If we feel a replacement item may be unsuitable, and in the event of not hearing from you, we may cancel your order and refund you.
Alternatively, if your ordered item is not in stock with us we may place it on "Back Order" with our supplier for you if an expected availability date is known. You will be emailed with an estimated delivery date unless it is listed as ‘expected’ on our site, and should you rather not progress, you may cancel your order if you would rather not wait. There is no charge for this order cancellation.
In some instances, to avoid any disappointment or hold up delivery, we may send all in-stock items with the Back Ordered item[s] arriving at a later date. This will allow you to find an alternative source of supply and cancellation of this item if desired. There is no additional postage or shipping cost to you for Back Orders, though we reserve the right to choose our own shipping method.
We aim to provide our customers with competitive prices. However they are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Should a product price decrease since an original purchase, contractually we are not obligated to refund the difference. Similarly, should an increase occur prior to purchase, we are not obligated to sell at the previous lower price.
The Consumer Protection (Distance selling) Regulations 2000 (SI 2334/2000) allows for a cooling off period and gives our customers a right to cancel the order.
We must be contacted within 7 working days of receipt of the goods and we will then issue you with a returns authorisation code. This code must be sent back to us with the returned goods.
You must take care of the goods whilst they are in your possession and any item for return must be in a condition fit for resale; all returned items should be accompanied with the original packaging. All items are inspected once returned to us. We ask that all goods be recieved by us within 7 days of you recieveing the authorisation code so that the item may be promptly restocked.
The customer will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us and it is advised that a proof of posting is obtained or a recorded delivery service is used. It is recommended also that goods of value be insured against to indemnify you from any loss that may occur during delivery.
After the 7 day period returns will be accepted at our discretion and would be refunded at 75% of the purchase price (excluding shipping). The customer is required to pay for the cost of returning the goods to us. Again we advise that a proof of posting is obtinaed or a recorded delivery service is used. It is recommended also that goods of value be insured against to indemnify you from any loss that may occur during delivery. After a period of 30 days we are under no obligation to refund.
Please note: Where items are returned outside of this policy it will be at our discretion as to whether a full or partial refund be made. Where goods cannot be refunded we will be happy to return the goods to you but postage cost for return of the goods must be borne by the customer. Where a customer does not agree to the return postage charge the said goods will be destroyed after a 30 day period.
If the item is found to be faulty then please notify us immediately. You will be given a returns authorisation code. We will be happy to refund or exchange the damaged item for you. Notification must be within 7 days from the date of delivery or where a fault was not immediately apparent and at our discretion, this time is extended to 28 calendar days after receipt.
We try to make refunds within 10 days of receipt of good back to us. However, we will make all refunds within 30 calendar days. Please note that we will not be held liable for any interest payment that you may incur because any refund was made outside of your credit/debit card timescales.
Note: Replacement goods or refunds will be authorised after inspection of returned goods and we will have no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, misuse, alteration or repair of goods.
Please note for reason of hygiene items such as facial hair, teeth and wigs etc. cannot be returned.

We make every effort to maintain clear descriptions and endeavour to use such 'up to date' images that are representative and truly reflect the item to be purchased.
However we cannot be held responsible for:
· any perception you may have in product representation
· the manufacturer's obligation to change product specification including colour or design at any time and without notice.
It is also important to note that some colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen to the product ultimately received, which may be due to the hardware or web browser that you use to view our site.
